Zero Tolerance Policy
A reminder that, in an effort to make activities
more desirable and create a rewarding experience for all participants,
Cal-East's zero tolerance policy will remain in effect.
In fact, a zero tolerance policy is being adopted by all leagues within
our district. This program is designed to ensure that all players,
coaches, parents, spectators, team officials and administrators, maintain a
sportsmanlike and education approach to the game of baseball. Simply,
there will be no tolerance of disrespect towards others at any Calgary East
Little League activity. |

Helmets & Personal Equipment
Again this season we are requiring all
players to supply their own batting helmets, available for a reasonable
price at local stores. This is an extremely important health issue, as
we have been made aware, for example, that current treatments for head lice
are no longer as effective as before. To avoid such problems, we
are asking all participants to adopt this "Bring your own helmet" policy,
and we thank you for your understanding.
Other equipment needed, quite simply, is a
glove, a protective cup, and a good pair of shoes. All other equipment
(bats, catcher's equipment, etc.) is provided by the league.
